Blogging More Often?

March 22nd, 2011

I am very excited to see that I get about 120 comments on the blog each day, and it made me feel even more lucky about my life now. My prayers are for Japan, they seriously need it. Please, let them in your hearts, it’s a rough time.

I am working on videos, and other crap for YouTube currently, just kinda waiting. It’s not a lot, but i’ve almost reached 1,000 channel views, so that’s also kind of exciting for me. I’ve also recently become obsessed with the Sorority Life game on facebook. It’s ADDICTING!!!

Anyways, i’m hoping that I can blog more often. I’m righting a story, so maybe I can post the first few chapters.

Long Time, No Blog

August 17th, 2010

Hey everyone, sorry to say that I have been amazingly busy with school, schedules, and hate comments. I have decided to not quit blogging and keep the people who, kindly enough, follow LittleHog, up to date.

I noticed today that I had 37 comments, mainly written on my first post, mostly trackbacks, however I was pretty perplexed.

I noticed that one of the comments called me a “Smelly retarded little creep”. First of all, not shocked, not upset, no going to fight back with harsh words. What I understand about these comments is that half of the people who post them, are describing themselves. I’m happy to report that the comment is nestled safely in my trash can.

Next, I have a random question for everyone who will answer. Using the fantasic color wheel, I’m going to use the fantasic color wheel to mix every posted color into one. The colors added in the color wheel must be posted as a comment on this blog entryfrom today (August 17th), to September 8th. I’m guessing that the total will be brown. I will, in the end, describe the color as best as I ever possibly can, and then you all can post what you want to name that color. Mybe SUPER EPIC MEGA COLOOOOR! Thanks! I will hopefully blog between now and then.

Thanks for reading!

More N.D.- and MORE!

April 11th, 2010

AAHHH! I am a liar! I did not buy number 19 of Nancy Drew because it was too expensive, but I did buy number 17- Legend of the Crystal Skull. REALLY HARD. In other words, REALLY GOOD. Yes, I liked it.

Sorry for the smallness of this post; but I just felt that I needed to confess. It HAD to be said. Simply HAD TO.

Sincerely, LittleHog

Mystery Weekend- Part 2

March 29th, 2010

So today, I beat the game 21, Warnings at Waverly Academy. Average ending, but I liked the game a lot overall. I do reccomend it, but maybe as a third game.

Anyways, next, I am off to Ireland to solve the mystery of “The Haunting of Castle Malloy”, number 19. After that, “The Phantom of Venice” number… 17? I don’t know for sure. Then “Secret of the Old Clock.”

Weekend: Solving a Mystery

March 28th, 2010

Now, before you go, jumping to conclusions, yes I am solving a mystery. A Nancy Drew mystery. This is number 21, in honor of me winning number 20- Ransom of the Seven Ships. It turns out that the culprit of 20 is the same one as game dos: Stay Tuned for Danger. Yep- Dwayne Powers. Funny, from number 2 to number 20.

This current one is called “Warnings at Waverly Academy”, and so far I love it. It’s the more modern games I like, believe it or not. Is that a cliche (spelling?)? Either way, now I’ve beaten two games, and I feel destined to complete a third.

The other one I beat was number eight, I think. I’ll get back to you on that one, numerically, of course. It’s called “The Secret of Shadow Ranch”, and i enjoyed it for the most part. I don’t think it was as challenging as other ones, where as the game I just won, Ransom of the Seven Ships, was filled to the top with brain busters, including ten minutes to do UNDERWATER SUDOKU.

I also own numbers 12, and 6, which I have completely lost hope in.

For one, number 6 was TOO BORING after a while, and not challenging at all. It was called “Danger on Deception Island”. Number 12, one the other hand, I gave up on because of the most important puzzle. It (the game) was called “The Curse of Blackmoor Manor”, and I had to solve a maze to get to the secret alchemy lab. Unfortuantely, it was pitch-black-dark, and I had one glowstick. Luckily it didn’t, but I was so far into the whole passageway that if that thing had run out on me, I really would have been screwed. Now, as if that wasn’t bad enough, for every step you took, the floor rotated. Screw it. I quit playing that one.

Last but not least, I will continue playing after I beat this one. I will actually be going back a few games. Number 19- The Haunting of Castle Malloy. We’ll see what happens!

Music is a chore

March 17th, 2010

How does that even happen? I don’t shirk my responsibility to seek/consume new music. In fact, I probably spend more time than anyone I know listening to new stuff. Most of it glances off the surface of my possible interest never to be seen again. Yes, I know I could simply listen to the mountain of material I already have on my iPod, but it has grown tiresome, as well.

Am I alone in feeling like music has a life of it’s own and therefor the ability to get tired if you trot it out too often? When I hear certain songs that have been around for a while, it’s almost as if they are slower than they used to be. Where the first time I heard them, they lept into my face and confronted me deliciously, now they start off reluctantly as if to say
“Hold on, hold on…let me get out of my chair.”
“You want me to go again? Well, why not”

Sure, there’s always Top 40. The goldfish-like quality of songs that really make you want them but go away on their own just as you get tired of them is tremendously appealing to me when the hooks are working (2009), but there’s no camaraderie in this. At least not for me. People my age don’t want to listen to/talk about current music (unless it’s to pretend that they’re the only parent to claim they had to define “disco stick” for their child. Seriously. I’ve overheard this 4 times) and kids don’t want to know they like the same thing as geezers like me.

The buyer’s market that our current economy has made of music doesn’t do well for music I have interest in purchasing either. When $5.50 seems like too much for a cd, I know I’m simply bored.

So which is it?
Is it the music that’s tired, or me?

Et Tu, bacon?

March 16th, 2010

So the Ides of March have passed and so have the first baby back ribs.
Is it wrong for hogs to love ham?
Is the first robin of spring’s chest red from dripping BBQ sauce
Should I promise better posts in the future when I know food comas will likely interfere?
